Ritzville, WA. – A rollover accident claimed the life of a Federal Way man near Ritzville in Adams County on Tuesday evening, the WSP troopers reported.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at around 6 p.m. December 9, 2025, on Interstate 90 nearly eight miles west of Ritzville.
The WSP said a car was traveling westbound on I-90 when it drifted off the left side of the roadway and crashed into a post. The car then drifted back across the highway into the median, where it rolled over.
A passenger in the vehicle was killed in the crash. Authorities identified the victim as Guillermo Martinez-Mireles, 51, of Federal Way.
The driver of the car was transported with unspecified injuries.
Fatigue is suspected to have played a role in the accident, according to the WSP. The investigation is ongoing.
