Santa Maria, CA.- A motorcyclist was killed in a collision that took place in Santa Maria on Wednesday morning, according to the Santa Maria Police Department.
The incident took place on Highway 101 at Main Street at about 11:15 a.m. April 16.
According to police, a motorcyclist stopped at a red light failed to yield and turned into the path of an agricultural bus traveling through the intersection.
The motorcyclist was killed in the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected to have played a role in the incident, police reported.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
