Reseda, CA – Several people were injured in a collision involving multiple vehicles on Tuesday evening in the Reseda area, according to the authorities.
Shortly after 4:40 p.m. June 23, authorities responded to reports of a collision in the 7100 block of N. Tampa Avenue.
Initial reports indicate that six vehicles were involved in the collision and several of them sustained total damage. One person was ejected from one of the vehicles involved.
The Los Angeles Fire Department personnel and paramedics arrived at the scene within minutes and attended to the parties involved in the crash.
Medics rendered aid to eight people and some of them were transferred to a hospital for further treatment.
Two of the transported patients were reportedly in critical condition. There was no update on the conditions of other patients who were hospitalized.
As paramedics and firefighters worked at the scene, roads were shut down in the area for an unspecified duration.
The crash remained under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department and further details are expected to be released.
