According to the report, Arrevaniz was walking in the area when she was hit by a vehicle under unclear circumstances

Bakersfield, CA.- The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle in Bakersfield on Saturday afternoon has been identified as Renee Sholee Arrevaniz, 41, of Bakersfield, according to Kern County Coroner's Office.
The incident took place on Highway 178 near Union Avenue at about 3 p.m. March 8.
According to the report, Arrevaniz was walking in the arealcircumstances.
Arrevaniz was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There were no further details on the accident.
The collision is under investigation.
