Redondo Beach, CA– A worker was injured when a semi-truck crashed into a cherry picker elevating a bucket on Tuesday afternoon in Redondo Beach.
According to the authorities, the incident was reported just after 2:30 p.m. February 24, on Prospect Avenue near Diamond Street.

Bystanders rushed to scene to aid the injured worker until police and emergency crews arrived at the scene.
The worker was eventually transported to a hospital with possible broken bones and a severe concussion. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
Police said the operator of the semi-truck remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. No charges were immediately reported following the accident.
Roads were temporarily shut down in the area as crews worked at the scene. Police are currently conducting an investigation to establish the exact cause of the incident.
