Portland, OR.- A police officer was injured in a collision with another vehicle in Portland on Saturday afternoon, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The crash happened on North Schmeer Road and North Denver Avenue at about 3:30 p.m. October 11.
According to the report, a Portland police officer was driving near the intersection when he was involved in a collision with a civilian vehicle.
The police vehicle's airbags deployed and the officer was flown to a hospital.
The officer was evaluated and released.
The other driver declined medical attention.
The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
