Sonora, CA.– Injuries were reported in a collision involving a Sonora Police Department vehicle on Saturday night in Sonora, according to the authorities.
The wreck took place on Greenley Road and Mono Way shortly after 8 p.m. March 8.
The police vehicle had its lights and sirens on responding to a call when it was involved in a collision with a Toyota Prius.
The Toyota then crashed with a Jeep Cherokee.
The police officer was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Other parties involved in the crash reported minor injuries.
No further details were released.
The accident is under investigation.
