Pleasanton, CA – A motorcyclist was injured after colliding with a car Thursday evening on Interstate 580 in Pleasanton, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash occurred around 7:32 p.m. on the eastbound I-580 just west of the Santa Rita Road off-ramp.
According to CHP logs, a sports bike and a blue SUV were involved in the collision. The rider and the bike ended up in the center divider.
Firefighters responded to the scene and blocked at least two left lanes of the freeway.
The rider sustained minor injuries in the crash.
Details about the manner and cause of the collision were not available.
CHP is investigating the accident.
