Phoenix, AZ – Three people were injured in a crash that caused a vehicle to roll over early Thursday morning in Phoenix, the Phoenix Police Department reported
The wreck occurred in the area near 51st Avenue and Buckeye Road at around 5 a.m. September 24.
Police reported that two vehicles collided near the intersection and the impact caused one of them to roll over.
Phoenix police and the Phoenix Fire Department responded to the scene and the driver of the rollover vehicle was extricated.
Medics rushed the extricated driver to a hospital with critical injuries.
The second driver and a passenger in their vehicle were also transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Roads were expected to be shut down for an unspecified duration as authorities examined and cleared the scene.
The Phoenix Police Department is still working to find out what led up to the incident.
