Phoenix, AZ – Two people were injured when multiple vehicles collided on Friday afternoon in north Phoenix, according to a report by the Phoenix Fire Department.
The accident, which took place near 51st Avenue and Cactus Road, occurred at around 4 p.m. on August 7.
Initial reports indicate that three vehicles were involved in the accident but the manner in which they crashed was not immediately determined.
Phoenix fire crews responded to the scene shortly after receiving reports of the wreck.
After assessing the involved parties for injuries, medics rushed a man to a hospital with critical injuries.
A woman was also transported with less severe injuries and was said to be in stable condition.
The identities of the involved parties were not immediately provided.
The Phoenix Police Department also responded to the scene and are still working to establish what led up to the accident.
