Phelan, CA – A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision that took place in Phelan on Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident took place on Phelan Road, just west of Bellflower Street, at around 5:15 p.m. on April 22.

According to initial reports, a black cruiser-style motorcycle, possibly a Harley-Davidson, was involved in the collision with a white Ford F-350 work truck pulling a trailer. Authorities were still working to find out how and why the crash happened.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the rider down in the westbound lane of Phelan Road.

The motorcyclist was transported to St. Mary Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. The identity of the involved rider was not immediately available.

The other driver stayed at the site of the collision and was cooperative with law enforcement. No arrests were announced in connection with the accident.

The westbound side of Phelan Road was temporarily blocked as emergency crews attended to the motorcyclist and crews worked to clear the scene.

No additional details on the crash were released. The California Highway Patrol Victorville Station is conducting an investigation into the incident.
