Perris, CA – Major injuries were reported in a traffic collision that happened Sunday night on Interstate 215 in Perris, the California Highway Patrol reported.

According to CHP logs, at least two vehicles, including a white Tesla that spun out and crashed into the right shoulder wall, were involved in the wreck.
A witness told authorities that the Tesla was traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the crash. The witness also reported that some parties got out of one of the vehicles and started throwing alcoholic drinks over a nearby wall.
Two female occupants were carried out of one of the cars.
The CHP report mentioned that at least one person suffered major injuries in the accident.
Authorities are investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
