North Park, CA.- A was hit and injured by a vehicle on Sunday morning in North Park, according to the Police Department.

The incident occurred in the 3100 block of Cajon Boulevard at about 6:20 a.m.

A 50-year-old man was reportedly running along a divider when he entered the traffic lanes and was hit by a GMC Jimmy driven by a 70-year-old man.

The victim was taken to a hospital with a fractured pelvis and facial lacerations.

No further details were released.

The San Diego Police Department is investigating the accident.
