Oxnard, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in Oxnard, according to the Oxnard Police Department.
The incident took place on Fifth Street and Rose Avenue at about 4:50 a.m.
According to police, a pedestrian was walking across a road outside of the crosswalk when they were hit by a white Honda Pilot.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Honda driver stayed at the scene after the accident.
An Investigation into the collision is ongoing.
