Danville, CA.- A pedestrian was hit and severely injured by a vehicle in Danville on Monday morning, according to a report by the Danville Police Department.
At around 10:45 a.m. November 10, police responded to reports of an accident at Iron Horse Plaza located at 345 Railroad Avenue.
Police said a pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk when a vehicle turning into the parking lot struck the victim.
The officers provided aid to the victim until medics from the San Ramon Vally Fire Protection District arrived.
The victim was transferred to a hospital with serious injuries.
The driver was unhurt and remained at the scene.
The Danville Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
