Sylmar, CA. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle Monday night in Sylmar, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
The incident occurred at about 8:50 p.m. in the 12200 block of San Fernando Road near Hubbard Street.
Authorities said a male pedestrian was struck by a car in the area under unclear circumstances.
The victim died from the injuries he suffered in the accident.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
The driver stopped and remained at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
