Pacific Beach, CA.- A was struck and injured by a motorcycle in Pacific Beach on Friday night, according to the San Diego Police Department.

The accident occurred in the 1900 block of Garnet Avenue at around 9:20 p.m. November 21.

According to SDPD, a 35-year-old man was in the east crosswalk walking south across the road against a red light when he was hit by an eastbound Suzuki 1500 motorcycle.

The pedestrian was rushed to a hospital with multiple injuries including a fractured femur and a lacerated liver.

The motorcyclist, a 21-year-old man, sustained multiple abrasions.

According to police, DUI is not believed to have been a factor in the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
