Fresno, CA.- The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash that left a pedestrian dead on Tuesday night in central Fresno.
The accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. on November 18, on Highway 99 at Clinton Avenue.
According to CHP, a pedestrian was walking in the slow northbound lanes when he was hit by a big rig.
The man died in the accident.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
The driver was at the scene when authorities arrived.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
