Los Angeles, CA. – A pedestrian was killed in a traffic collision that happened Sunday evening in Sylmar, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway near Yarnell Street.
A witness told authorities that a male pedestrian was walking in traffic lanes when he was hit by a car.
The victim died from injuries suffered in the crash.
Investigators shut down the Nos. 1, 2, and 3 lanes of the westbound side following the accident.
