Paso Robles, CA – A pedestrian was hit and injured by a vehicle in San Luis Obispo County on Wednesday afternoon, the police reported.
At about 2:26 p.m. April 1, authorities responded to reports of a collision outside a shopping plaza located in the 1400 block of Creston Road in Paso Robles.
Investigators reported that a white Dodge pickup truck struck a pedestrian outside a Food 4 Less business. The circumstances under which the crash happened were still undetermined.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the collision and rendered aid to the injured pedestrian.
The victim was then transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The driver stayed at the scene and spoke with law enforcement officers. Authorities did not specify whether impairment or speed played any role in the accident and no arrests were reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and further details are expected to be released.
