Palm Springs, CA – One Person Sent to Hospital after 2-Vehicle Collision on State Route 111 and Overture Drive

According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported around 8:41 a.m. on September 7, 2026, on northbound State Route 111 at Overture Drive.

Palm Springs, CA – One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday morning in Palm Springs.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the wreck was reported around 8:41 a.m. on September 7, 2026, on northbound State Route 111 at Overture Drive.

A Ford Explorer and a white Mitsubishi SUV were involved in the accident, blocking the roadway.

A plastic container with gas was also located in the No. 1 lane, and gas spilled all over the roadway on SR-111.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Both cars were towed away from the scene.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
