Pacoima, CA – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after being involved in a collision with a car in Pacoima on Saturday morning.
According fo the California Highway Patrol, the wreck took place at around 11:25 a.m. March 14, on the San Fernando Road.
Initial reports indicate that a motorcyclist and a silver sedan collided in the westbound lanes of the freeway. The events leading up to the wreck were not immediately established.
The male rider was transported by paramedics to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
There were no reports of additional injuries in connection with the incident.
The westbound lanes of the 118 Freeway were shut down until about 12:45 p.m. No additional information was immediately available. The California Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation to establish the exact cause of the crash.
