The crash occurred around 11:53 p.m. on March 29, 2026, on I-10 West at 4th Street, involving a semi-truck and multiple vehicles. CHP and Ontario Police Department units responded to the scene to manage traffic and investigate the incident.
Preliminary reports indicate that six to seven vehicles, including a red Lexus SUV, were involved when a semi-truck collided with them in the westbound lanes. The impact reportedly split one of the vehicles, causing significant damage and blocking all lanes of traffic.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while at least one other person sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. No arrests were reported at the time, and authorities continue to investigate the identities of those involved.
