Costa Mesa, CA. – A Costa Mesa car accident on Interstate 405 and State Route 55 sent one person to the hospital with major injuries, the California Highway Patrol reported.

CHP officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found a blue Honda CR-V facing the wrong way in the gore point after it had collided with a Honda Accord.
One person sustained major injuries in the crash. The patient was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
