Santa Maria, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that happened Sunday evening in Santa Maria, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The accident was reported around 6:55 p.m. on northbound Highway 101, just north of the Donovan Road off-ramp.
Two vehicles collided, and one of them, a black truck, overturned onto its roof in a ditch.
The Santa Maria Police Department, firefighters, and paramedics responded to the scene.
One person sustained major injuries. The patient was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
