Twentynine Palms, CA – At least one person was killed and another injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms Tuesday afternoon.
The mishap happened at around 4:15 p.m. on State Route 62 at Rotary Way, according to the CHP.
A garbage truck, a Tesla, and a Nissan Altima were involved in the accident.
At least one person died in the wreck and one party from Altima suffered injuries.
The name of the deceased was withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
