Redding, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday afternoon in Redding, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place around 4:28 p.m. on the northbound 5 Freeway near State Route 44.
Three vehicles, including a black Chevrolet 2500 and a gray Hyundai Elantra, were involved in the crash.
One of the vehicles was occupied by two juveniles.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and evaluated the victims.
One person was transported to the hospital with the complaint of pain to the head.
CHP officers are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
