Pittsburg, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that took place Sunday evening on State Route 4 in Pittsburg, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident was reported around 6:19 p.m. in the eastbound lanes just under Loveridge Road.
Authorities said the collision involved a blue Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck and a gray Ford Mustang.
A motorist with footage of the accident told authorities that the pickup truck was merging lanes when it collided with the Ford.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash.
