Downey, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision that took place Friday morning in Downey, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident occurred around 11:37 a.m. on the Bellflower Boulevard on-ramp to the eastbound 105 Freeway.
A white Toyota Corolla and a gray pickup truck were involved in the crash.
One of the vehicles was occupied by a 4-year-old boy. The boy's parent requested paramedics to respond and evaluate him.
One person was taken to Kaiser Permanente Downey Medical Center with minor injuries.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
