The driver of a Toyota Tacoma reportedly failed to yield to traffic and struck two pedestrians crossing the street.

, CA. – One person was injured when a pickup hit two pedestrians Thursday morning near an intersection in Chico, authorities reported.

The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. at the Arco gas station near Main Street and W 9th Street.

The driver of a Toyota Tacoma reportedly failed to yield to pedestrian traffic and struck two pedestrians crossing the street.

First responders found one of the victims underneath the pickup truck. The pedestrian was treated for minor injuries.

The second pedestrian was not injured.

The driver was not cited at the scene, as per the report.
