Placer County, CA – One person was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle collision that happened Sunday evening in the Gold Run area of Placer County.
The incident was reported around 6 p.m., December 21, on the eastbound Interstate 80 just east of the Gold Run Rest Area.
A car with a male and a female occupant was involved in a collision for an unknown reason.
Cal Fire responded to the scene and transported one of the occupants, only identified as a 24-year-old, to Sutter Roseville Medical Center with minor injuries.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
