San Bernardino, CA. – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened early Sunday morning in San Bernardino, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident took place around 2:55 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 215 near Palm Avenue.
Authorities said a white Chevrolet Camaro and a dark colored SUV were involved in the accident.
The SUV went off the roadway into a fence on the right shoulder, and the Camaro stopped sideways in traffic lanes. About 15 feet of guardrail in the center divider were also damaged.
One person sustained unspecified injuries in the collision. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the patient to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the collision.
