The accident took place around 5:13 p.m. on southbound Northgate Boulevard, just south of Tandy Drive.
A blue Hyundai Kona and another vehicle were involved in the crash.
One person suffered minor injuries in the accident. The patient was transported to Kaiser Permanente Sacramento Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators did not immediately determine the cause of the collision.
