Rancho Cordova, CA. – A motorcyclist died in a suspected DUI collision that happened Sunday evening in Rancho Cordova, the Rancho Cordova Police Department reported.

A motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the crash.
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District personnel responded to the scene and transported the motorcyclist to a hospital in critical condition. The rider later died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Details about the cause and manner of the crash were not available, but police said the driver of the car is suspected of driving while intoxicated.
