According to the CHP, a 2012 BMW 328 was traveling northbound on Highway 101 when it drifted into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming 2020 Ford F-350 driven by Justin Ambrose, 40, of Fortuna
Humboldt County, CA.- Ocean DelCastillo, 23, of Eureka, was injured in a deadly crash in Humboldt County on Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at around 2 p.m. October 28, on Highway 101 near Metropolitan Road.
According to the CHP, a 2012 BMW 328 was traveling northbound on Highway 101 when it drifted into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming 2020 Ford F-350 driven by Justin Ambrose, 40, of Fortuna.
The BMW was engulfed in flames after the crash.
A passenger in the BMW was killed in the accident.
DelCastillo was the driver of the BMW and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital with major injuries.
There was no update on Ambrose's condition.
The CHP is investigating to find out the cause of the collision.
