Oakland, CA – Major Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Collision on SR-24 and SR-13

Oakland, CA – At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Friday afternoon in Oakland, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The pileup took place around 3:03 p.m. on August 7, 2026, on westbound State Route 24 at State Route 13.

Three vehicles, including a green Toyota Sienna, were involved in the crash. At least one of the cars was blocking the roadway after the collision, and the other two were on the left shoulder.

At least one person sustained major injuries in the accident. Emergency personnel responded and transported the victim to the hospital for treatment.

CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
