San Diego, CA – One person was killed after a motorcycle and a sedan collided at an intersection in San Diego late Sunday night, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Eckstrom Avenue and Balboa Avenue at approximately 10:45 p.m. on October 26, 2025.
Authorities said Michael Anthony Almedina, 32, of San Diego, was riding a motorcycle when he entered the intersection and collided with a sedan.
Emergency personnel arrived shortly after witnesses called 911. Paramedics transported Almedina to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead at 11:10 p.m. No other injuries or arrests were reported.
According to the coroner's report, Almedina died from multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
