Torrance, CA. – The Torrance Police Department is investigating a motorcycle accident that left a 33-year-old Harbor City man at an intersection in Torrance Wednesday evening.
The collision happened at around 6:04 p.m. at the intersection of Crenshaw Boulevard and 236th Street.
Police determined that a 2019 Jaguar was traveling southbound on Crenshaw Boulevard and then made a left turn onto 236th Street, colliding with a 1992 Honda motorcycle heading northbound on Crenshaw Boulevard.
The male rider, whose name was not disclosed, died at the scene.
The 78-year-old man from Torrance driving the Jaguar was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
