Pomona, CA. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon near an intersection in Pomona, the Pomona Police Department reported.

Police said a man on a motorcycle collided with a car under unclear circumstances.
First responders found the rider with severe injuries. The man was pronounced dead at the scene after failed life-saving attempts.
The car driver was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Impairment was not considered a contributing factor.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
