A man was riding a motorcycle westbound on Welch Avenue when he collided with a semi-truck traveling northbound on South Union Avenue.
Bakersfield, CA.- A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash with a big rig in Bakersfield on Sunday evening, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.
The accident took place on Welch Avenue and South Union Avenue at about 6:07 p.m. September 21.
A man was riding a motorcycle westbound on Welch Avenue when he collided with a semi-truck traveling northbound on South Union Avenue.
The motorcyclist was rushed to a hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The big rig driver was unhurt and cooperated with the investigators.
The Bakersfield Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
