According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 6:22 p.m. on westbound State Route 118, just east of Reseda Boulevard.
A motorcycle and a black Tesla were involved in the collision. The rider was reportedly lane-splitting before colliding with the car.
The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries, including the complaint of pain to the left wrist.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and offered medical aid to the victim.
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the collision.
