Santa Maria, CA.- A motorcyclist was injured in an accident that occurred in Santa Maria on Thursday morning, according to the Santa Maria Police Department.
The incident took place in the 2200 block of South Bradley Road at about 6 a.m. August 14.
According to police, a motorcycle and an SUV were involved in the accident.
The rider was taken to Marian Regional Medical Center with major injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The Santa Maria Police Department is conducting an investigation into the collision.
