San Diego County, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a collision that happened Friday morning in Pala, a census-designated place in San Diego County.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 76 near Lilac Extension Road.
A motorcycle and a red Chevrolet Silverado were involved in the collision.
The rider was thrown from the bike onto the roadway.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the motorcyclist with possible major injuries. The patient was transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the crash.
