Chico, CA. – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a car Monday night near Cinemark theater in Chico, authorities reported.
The accident took place around 8:40 p.m. on East Avenue between Pillsbury Road and Cohasset Road.
According to the Chico Police Department, a man was riding a motorcycle when a car pulled out in front of the motorcycle, causing a collision.
The rider was transported to an area hospital with moderate injuries.
Investigators closed the eastbound lanes of East Avenue for about half an hour as they worked the scene.
