Police said a car driver failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection, pulled onto Van Buren Street, and was hit by a motorcyclist traveling westbound on Van Buren Street

Phoenix, AZ.- A motorcyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle in Phoenix early Saturday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Authorities responded at around 12:35 a.m. November 22, near the intersection of 16th and Van Buren streets.
Police said a car driver failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection, pulled onto Van Buren Street, and was hit by a motorcyclist traveling westbound on Van Buren Street.
The man riding the motorcycle was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries.
The other motorist remained at the scene and was not suspected to have been impaired.
The Phoenix Police Department is investigating the accident.
