Clackamas County, OR – One person was killed after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 224 in Clackamas County on Sunday morning, according to Oregon State Police.

The crash occurred on Highway 224 near milepost 14 at approximately 8:39 a.m. on November 16, 2025.

According to investigators, a westbound Yamaha R6 motorcycle, operated by Akahieleu Redo of Oregon City, lost control while negotiating a curve, left the roadway, struck a mound of dirt, and went airborne before both the motorcycle and rider came to rest in a tree.

Redo, 22, was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries or arrests were reported.

The highway was impacted for roughly two hours during the on-scene investigation.

The incident remains under investigation.
