Motorcyclist Airlifted After Crash on Highway 74 in Lake Elsinore

According to the California Highway Patrol, the solo- was reported around 2:30 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the highway at Tenaja Trail.

, CA. – A 25-year-old motorcyclist was injured in a collision that happened Monday afternoon on in Lake Elsinore.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the solo-motorcycle accident was reported around 2:30 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the highway at Tenaja Truck Trail.

CHP officers and Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene.

The responders found the rider with moderate injuries after his Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle traveled off the paved roadway into a dirt embankment.

A medical helicopter was dispatched to the scene to airlift the patient to the hospital. The helicopter landed at the Ortega Highway Candy Store, from where the rider was flown to a local trauma center.

An investigation is ongoing.
