Cajon Pass, CA.- A motorcyclist was airlifted after being involved in a collision with a vehicle in the Cajon Pass area on Sunday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on the 15 Freeway near Oak Hill Road just before 4:15 p.m.
According to CHP, a motorcycle was involved in the crash with a silver sedan on the southbound side of the freeway.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and attended to the rider, who was ejected in the accident and sustained major injuries.
The motorcyclist was then flown to a trauma center for further medication.
All southbound lanes of the freeway were temporarily shut down as crews worked to clear the scene.
The incident is under investigation.
