Rider Seriously Injured in Folsom Motorcycle Crash on Highway 50 near Bidwell Street On-Ramp
Folsom, California (July 26, 2022) – A motorcyclist was severely hurt in a traffic accident that happened Tuesday evening in Folsom, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision took place at about 6:20 p.m. on westbound Highway 50, just east of the E Bidwell Street on-ramp.
A motorcycle and several other vehicles, including a possible white truck, were involved in the accident.
The rider and the bike were blocking the slow lane after the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene and helped the seriously injured motorcyclist.
Some traffic lanes were temporarily closed following the accident.
CHP is investigating the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
