Monterey, CA. – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Monterey on Saturday evening.
According to the California Highway patrol, the accident happened around 7:34 p.m. on Highway 1 near Del Monte Avenue.
Four vehicles were involved in the accident, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
One person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
